Megan Lenahan

When Megan Lenahan took her first Salsa class in 2017, she could not imagine herself mastering the basic step, let alone becoming a dance instructor. But that growth is why she loves Tumbao Collective. Tumbao Tuesday has become a space for people to try new things, experience joy, and grow as a community. As a native Louisvillian, Megan feels immensely grateful to be a part of a collective and community that believes in courage, creativity, and connection.

Megan feels most connected to herself and her dance partners when dancing Bachata, but she also loves Salsa, Kizomba, and Merengue. With Tumbao, she looks forward to the opportunities to continue training in dance technique and pursue her personal goal of becoming a better lead. As a figurative artist, Megan is also excited to help Tumbao transform into a creative collective for all artists and artforms.
